This site is for you to enjoy, but there are some "rules" to go by when using Movie Chow.

PHOTOGRAPHS, VIDEO FOOTAGE & TEXT

Photographs, video and text, which are taken and written by me, Bill Kallay, are under copyright. If you're a media outlet, as defined in this paragraph, the material on this site may not be used for your own profit, exploitation or other media uses including television broadcast, magazine and/or web related publication or distribution, newspaper publication, motion pictures, billboard ads, skywriting and what have you, without written consent and monetary compensation to me.

In the past, I've had writers take my posted photos and use them without credit to me, my site or having gained my permission to do so in the first place. I've also had those same writers claim ignorance that they didn't see my name on the site from which they took my photo. My name is clearly "printed" here on this site, as well as my contact information.

If you're an individual who is interested in one of the photos on this site, please contact me. I've had some very kind people request my photos for their own personal collections of movie stars.

ABUSE OF SITE AND AUTHOR OF SITE

The beauty of the Internet and email is a sense of communication and community. There are some very nice and smart people out there who mean well. I appreciate feedback, suggestions and communication with those types of people.

There will probably be occasions when you don't agree with a review of a DVD or recent motion picture on my site. You may not agree with my take on a certain piece of electronic equipment or my stance on a subject. I'm good with that. However, I will not accept hate filled, abusive, condescending, annoying, explicative filled, ignorant or generally immature emails as a method of communicating to me. Those emails will not be answered. They'll be deleted. There are more serious problems in the world (there always have been and there always will be), than whether or not I think that one film is better than another, or if I think that constant news of a pop star is annoying. We're all entitled to our opinions. Please be civil.

AFFILIATIONS

Movie Chow, nor I, Bill Kallay, is under contract or employed by the Walt Disney Company or its divisions, or by Viacom (Paramount Pictures and DreamWorks and their divisions). They own their trademarks, photos and video footage. I've been given permission as the owner of this media outlet to publish their pictures and review their DVDs and content, so long as their copyright notices are printed.

Any photos taken at various Disney or Viacom premieres by me are copyrighted under my name.

Amazon.com and Google.com links are provided here under their wonderful programs to earn income for various web sites such as www.moviechow.com. I purchase numerous goods from Amazon, and I search the web with Google. By clicking onto those links, and buying from Amazon.com, you're helping this site. Plus, you're indicating that you're just like me! :)

WEB BROWSER COMPATIBILITY AND COMPUTER ISSUES

Overall, this site will display well on most browsers. However, some web browsers may not properly display this site. I've run this site through Internet Explorer, Google, Yahoo! and MSN on PC and it displays correctly. The drop down menus work fine and the fonts should display well. On a widescreen PC, the pages may stretch out a bit.

This site will show up on a Mac, but it some photos may not show up on the page in Safari version 1.3.2. Drop down menus in the DVD Snack Bar section may not work in Internet Explorer on a Mac. I've done what I can (so far) to ensure a good web experience for Mac users and PC users. So if you're using a Mac, it's best to use Safari for this site to get the best experience.

I am working to ensure that this site shows up on every browser correctly.
